Ark Animal Hospital is a high paced small animal practice located in Central Florida that provides high quality medicine and care to a broad spectrum of clients and their pets. Ark Animal Hospital offers digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, full pharmacy, and surgery including but not limited to general soft tissue surgery and caesarian sections.

  We are looking for a Veterinary Technician or Technician Assistant that can assist our veterinarian and staff in providing animal care, performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and educating pet owners, often working in clinical or hospital settings. Must be able to lift 50lbs. With the proper experience, job duties may include but are not limited to: • Patient Care and Support • Provide nursing care • Emergency care • Anesthesia and surgery • Patient observation and reporting • Client education • Patient preparation • Diagnostic and Laboratory Procedures • Collect samples • Perform laboratory tests • X-ray and imaging • Record keeping • Other Duties: o Inventory management o Facility maintenance o Client interaction
